Were killed and 12 others wounded after two rival groups opened fire against each other in Montgomery, Alabama last night. Montgomery Police Chief James Gray Boys describes how the situation quickly escalated after the initial gunfire.

No arrests have been made so far. A reward of $50,000 is being offered for information leading to arrests. Seven of the victims are reportedly younger than 20 years old. Attorney General Pam Bondi says she plans to appeal after a Biden appointed judge gave a lenient sentence to the person who pled guilty to planning to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Fox's Madison Scarpino with the latest.

The DOJ wanted to lock up this would be ass for at least 30 years. But the judge sentenced the 29 year old man who is now transitioning to a female to only eight years. Many people are infuriated, especially because of all of the recent political violence like the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk. Now on Sunday morning, futures Senator Eric Schmidt, who serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee, had this to say.

For weeks leading up to the incident, Nicholas Roski, who now goes by Sophie, did a lot of planning. He wanted to kill Kavanaugh over the Dobbs decision.

Officials say he did research. He bought multiple weapons that he traveled with across country before eventually calling 911 on himself. He did that after seeing Kavanaugh's protective detail guarding his property. I'm Kathleen Maloney. This is FOX news.
