A warning for Russia. I'm Kathleen Maloney, Fox News. President Trump now says the US May provide Ukraine with long range Tomahawk missiles.
Donald Trump
I might say, look, if this war is not going to get settled, I'm going to send them Tomahawks. I may said that the Tomahawk is an incredible weapon, very offensive weapon. And honestly, Russia does not need that.

Trump spoke by phone today with Ukrainian President Zelensky. President Trump is on his way now to the Mideast for the signing of a peace agreement that will bring the remaining Israeli hostages home after two years in Hamas captivity.

This is a very special event. They had 500,000 people yesterday and today in Israel and also the Muslim and Arab countries are all cheering. Everybody's cheering at one time. That's never happened before.

Overnight, hundreds of thousands of Israelis gathered here in Hostages Square for what they hope will be their final rally. With the families of those expected to be released by Hamas standing behind them and many former hostages, anticipation is high in these final hours. The hostages are expected to be picked up by the Red Cross inside Gaza and then transferred to Israeli forces. Then they'll be reunited with family members and flown by helicopter to local hospitals for medical treatment. The hostages are set to be exchanged for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. 142 of them are likely to be deported abroad, 100 released into the West bank, five to East Jerusalem and three to Gaza.

The hostages could be released tomorrow as the Atlantic states brace for two days of heavy rain and wind. Two governors have already declared states of emergency. New Jersey's Phil Murphy and New York's Kathy Hochul are warning several counties to be aware of flying debris and power outages that may come with this severe weather. A mass shooting at a bar on South Carolina's St. Helena island left four people dead, at least 20 injured overnight. Deputies say they arrived to find several victims amid a large crowd with others fleeing to nearby businesses for safety. The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office called it a tragic and difficult incident and is asking for patience as the investigation continues. Four victims died at the scene. Four of the wounded remain in critical condition. A legal limbo ends for South Carolina death row inmate Fox's Jack Callahan explains.

Fred Singleton was condemned to die in South Carolina's electric chair back in 1983 for the rape and murder of a woman. Police had found his fingerprints at her home and her jewelry in his pocket when he was arrested. But Singleton's attorneys argued he was mentally incompetent, and the South Carolina State Supreme Court eventually agreed, blocking his execution but leaving the death sentence in place in case he should someday be restored to reason. It didn't happen and never will. Fred Singleton died last week from natural causes in a prison infirmary. He was 81 and spent more than half his life on death row. Jack Callahan, Fox News France's newly reappointed.

Prime minister, Sebastian Lecournaux, named a new government today as he faces pressure to urgently produce a budget and quell political turmoil that is scarring businesses and as well as staining the country's image. The cabinet includes several members who served in previous governments from President Emmanuel Macron's centrist camp and allied conservatives, as well as a few people from outside the political circle. It's unclear how long this new term will last. Macron, whose term runs to 2027, lacks a majority in the deeply fractured parliament. Opposition leaders have called for new elections or his resignation. I'm Kathleen Maloney. This is Fox.
