A big break in a brazen theft. I'm Daria Albinger, FOX News. Two suspects are now under arrest at that stunning heist last weekend at the Louvre. Fox's Stephanie Bennett says one was stopped trying to flee the country.

Two of the potentially four suspects are in custody. Many are saying they're hoping that justice will be served. But of course, the race is still on to find those several pieces of missing French crown jewels before they're potentially destroyed. Now the Paris prosecutors said that investigators made the arrests last night, adding that one of the men taken into custody was prepping to leave the country. From Paris's Charles de Gaulle Airport. The Parisian newspaper says he was heading to Algeria. The two men are in their 30s and originally from a suburb north of Paris and were known to police. This, of course, all started Last Sunday around 9:30 in the morning just after the Louvre had opened. The suspects used a basket lift to gain access to the Apollo Gallery where they cut through a window with power tools.

They say the investigation is still just beginning. President Trump in Malaysia, first stop on his Asian trip. But the most important part of it is going to be later this week when he talks trade with another Asian leader.

We'll see what happens with this big meeting with President Trump and China's leader Xi Jinping later this week in South Korea. But for now, some good news from President Trump's Treasury Secretary Scott Bessen, who says a framework agreement has been agreed to with China which covers rare earth minerals. Those minerals power everything from iPhones to cars to fighter jets, as well as TikTok and soybeans. President Trump arriving in Malaysia breaking out his signature dance moves before getting serious, providing over that peace deal ending decades long hostilities between Southeast Asian neighbors Cambodia and Thailand.

A suspect is in custody in connection with a deadly shooting yesterday in Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. One person was killed. Six others were injured. School police Chief Mark Partee says the shooting cut short a night that was meant to celebrate the hbcu.

The school is about 45 miles from Philadelphia. Forecasters are closely watching Hurricane Melissa as it spins through the Caribbean. It is cat for strength. It could be category five by the time it reaches Jamaica.

Last minute preparations by the people here in many of the communities, stores that are boarded up, restaurants, hotels all boarded up, aid groups on the ground, NGOs, State Department, United States are watching this very, very closely and officials monitoring because what we are going to experience is going to be histor here in Jamaica for modern times. The last time anything Even close was 1988 Hurricane Gilbert. This will be more intense. Mudslides, rock slides, landslides and the mountainous region here in Jamaica will be in play. Roads will crumble and massive power outages.

That's fox's Robert Ray in Kingston. The Navy is looking into crashes of a fighter jet and a helicopter in separate incidents in the South China Sea. The F18 Super Hornet jet has and the Seahawk chopper were both assigned to the USS Nimitz which is on the return leg of its final deployment before returning to the West Coast. The Navy says the crews are safe. The incidents are under investigation. Russia says it's tested a new nuclear capable cruise missile. President Putin says it's moving closer to deploying it. He claims the missile, which has been in development for years, reportedly went 8,700 miles during a test run last week. I'm Daria Albinger. This is FOX NEWS News.
