The consensus is heavy snow from the Rockies across to the Mid Atlantic with more than a foot forecast around Oklahoma City and Dallas. As much of a half inch of ice is forecast to reach parts of north and South Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
