Portions of North Carolina. This system is going to be on the move. It's going to impact folks, even if it's not going to be with a big snowfall total. But for the I95 corridor, no snow with this system. It's going to bring wind and it is going to bring those frigid temperatures. It's going to be chilly. The the wind plus these cold temperatures gonna make it feel a whole lot worse. Negative six for New York City, nine degrees back in Chicago. And this is settling deep into the South. It feels like negative one in Atlanta. I want to take you down to Florida where yesterday the temperatures this time, 50, 60 degrees here this morning. Your wind chills 13 degrees in Orlando, 12 degrees in Jacksonville. It is 26 degrees. That's what it feels like in Miami this morning.

Meantime, winter weather alerts run from the southern tip of Georgia all the way north into Maryland through the rest of the day. Today, Iran's supreme leader now warning that any US Attack would spark a regional war, quote, unquote. This coming as President Trump confirms Iran is negotiating with the US but says he still is not ruling out any more military strikes on the area.

He's been adamant that Iran agreed to no nuclear weapons. And he said last week if they don't come to a deal soon, what happens next could be worse than Operation Midnight Hammer in June.

I hope they negotiate something that's acceptable.

But a senior Gulf official tells our Jackie Heinrich there's some skepticism in the region about a deal coming together. That official saying the US The US has not shared its plans with Gulf allies. However, whatever comes next likely won't involve Saudi airspace or bases because Saudi officials have not authorized the US to use them.

He ordered ICE to release five year old Ecuadorian Liam Conhejo Ramos and his father from a detention center in South Texas by Tuesday. Images of Liam with a bunny hat and a Spider man backpack being surrounded by ICE agents in Minneapolis sparked even more outcry about the immigration crackdown. NASA beginning a two day practice countdown for its new moon rocket, a key test before sending astronauts back to the moon. Toward the moon for the first time in more than 50 years. The towering space launch system will be fueled during a dress rehearsal at the Kennedy Space center, stopping just short of igniting the engines. If all goes well, liftoff could come as soon as the 8th of February. The crew will fly around the moon in an Orion capsule and return to Earth after a mission lasting about 10 days. Country singer John Rich dedicating a new song to former VP Al Gore's infamous global warming push. Amid the freezing cold we're seeing down south.
