Pleading for her release. I'm Pam Husso. FOX NEWS it's day eight of the search for Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC Today show co host Savannah Guthrie. The missing woman's children released another video last night.
Fox News Reporter
The FBI tells the Associated Press that when Savannah Guthrie in that video says we received your message, she is referencing a second note that was sent to local station KOLD here on Friday. And KOLD says that note, not released to the public, did not contain proof of life. Separately, KGUN9, another local outlet which received one of the original notes, says the ransom demand is $6 million in Bitcoin and are threatening Nancy Guthrie's life. FIT is not received by 5pm Monday. Last night, investigators returned to Annie Guthrie's home and spent about two and a half hours there. Our FOX News Digital reports they saw what appeared to be flashes coming from a camera inside the garage and then again in another part of the house.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who we have been seeing lead those press conferences in the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, is now under scrutiny after being spotted at a college basketball game last night nearly a week into the search for the 84 year old mother and grandmother near the front row of the matchup between the University of Arizona and Oklahoma State where only a few minutes after the game ended, Savannah Guthrie and her siblings shared a third video message pleading with the possible captors to return their mother. The the person who took this video of the sheriff at the basketball game told FOX News Digital this quote, this whole thing being so fresh and nationwide, maybe worldwide, I don't think it was a good look for him to do it. He's a major part of the investigation. So it didn't look good to me. Very sad to see him at the Arizona basketball game.

Day of winter so far in Philadelphia with bitter temperatures and wind chills making even short trips outside risky. Despite the cold, some walkers, joggers and runners still push through the conditions, bundling up and braving the freeze. The dangerous cold isn't just uncomfortable, doctors warn. Frostbite can develop in as little as 20 minutes, with the risk of losing fingers, toes or ears. Hypothermia is also a major concern. Doctors and city officials remind residents to limit time outside, stay indoors where it's warm and make sure heating systems are working properly as this dangerous cold continues. Some participants wore costumes and used satire to criticize the plan, which would place a one time 5% tax on the net worth of the state's billionaires. So supporters of the proposal say the revenue could help fund public programs and offset budget pressures. US Ski legend Lindsey Vonn saw her comeback end in heartbreak at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Competing in the women's downhill earlier today, the 41 year old crashed during her run and had to be airlifted off the course. Vaughn decided to race despite rupturing her ACL less than two weeks ago in a separate crash. Tonight Is Super Bowl 60 with the Seattle Seahawks taking on the New England Patriots.
