A deadly shooting at Mar A Lago. This is a FOX News alert. I'm Paul Stevens. The U.S. secret Service says law enforcement shot and killed a man who they say was carrying a shotgun and a fuel can and trying to enter Mar a Lago earlier today. FBI Miami field office special Agent in charge Brett Skiles says the FBI is assisting in the investigation.
Fox Weather Meteorologist Adam Klotz
Currently our evidence response team is processing the scene, collecting evidence, and we'll continue to work the same for as long as it takes.

President Trump was not at Mar a Lago at the time and no police or agents were hurt. Thousands of flights already cancelled as the Northeast gets ready for a winter storm to come barreling through.

The blizzard warning is in place from just outside D.C. wrapping up along the coast, getting up towards Boston. That means whiteout conditions. You're really not going to be able to see at all because the snow will be coming down very heavy. We winds 50, 60 miles an hour. That is what's going to limit visibility down to under a quarter of a mile for over three hours. This system running all the way through today, overnight, it's not going to be until tomorrow evening that you finally see this system clear out. New York City forecasting 18 to 24 inches of snow in the city. Boston, even bigger numbers. Two to three feet of snow is possible. All that and those winds are going to be really intense. It's going to be a tough next couple of days.

Fox Weather's Adam Klotz. Meantime, some allegations of hypocrisy being aimed at New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani. The New York City mayor now requiring multiple forms of ID in order for New Yorkers to apply to be an emergency snow shoveler. This as the city prepares for that big nor'. Easter. This coming despite his vocal pushback against laws that would require Americans to show an ID to vote in elections. Mamdani's requirements lighting up his critics on social media as they point out the hypocrisy, they say, of Democrats requiring an ID to work but not to vote. America is listening to Fox News.

Reuters is reporting that TSA Precheck remains operational, reversing an earlier announcement made by the Department of Homeland Security. The program allows approved passengers through a dedicated faster security line at many airports. President Trump announcing that he'll be raising global tariffs to 15%. This after the US Supreme Court struck down the tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. U.S. trade Representative Jameson Greer on Fox News Sunday, saying that Democratic governors who now are demanding tariff refunds don't understand how the refund process works.

These are people who sued the president, their state sued the president. They wanted to overturn these tariffs. And if they knew anything about it, they would know that the returns just go to companies, often foreign companies with a subsidiary here in the U.S. i mean, if they want to change this, they need to talk to their Democrats, Democratic members of Congress and say, here's how we want the refunds to work.

And more than 1,000 lawsuits for refunds have already been filed with the US Court of International Trade today, marking two years since the murder of Georgia nursing student Lake and Riley. The 22 year old killed while jogging near the University of Georgia campus in February of 2024, a crime that drew national attention, sparking a debate over campus safety and American immigration policy. Jose Antonio Ybarro was found guilty on all counts in a bench trial, sentenced to life in prison, the possibility of parole. His attorneys are now looking for a new trial. They argue there were errors in the original trial proceedings. President Trump approving emergency assistance for D.C. to aid the District in cleaning up a sewage system spill. FEMA confirming this in the statement saying, quote, the president's action authorizes FEMA to coordinate all disaster relief efforts to alleviate the hardship and suffering caused by the emergency on the local population and to provide appropriate assistance. D.C. has been in a state of emergency since Wednesday. I'm Paul Stevens. This is FOX News.
