They're still trying to make a criminal case against President Trump. I'm Dave Anthony, FOX News. A new prosecutor taking over in Georgia in the 2020 election interference case after DA Fani Willis was disqualified.

Georgia law said the prosecuting attorney's counsel had to try to find someone else to lead the case. Now that organization's director, Pete Scandalakis says he'll do it. President Trump likely wouldn't be prosecuted while in office, but other co defendants include Rudy Giuliani, former former chief of staff Mark Meadows and attorney John Eastman. They're accused of violating racketeering laws in an effort to commit election fraud by making false statements, committing forgery fraud and impersonating a public officer.

Fox's Jessica Rosenthal just said the day the president preemptively pardoned Giuliani, Meadows and Eastman. But that would apply to federal, not state, prosecution. There are more than 600 flights canceled again today. The FAA has yet to lift to schedule reductions put in place during the government shutdown. The hundreds of delays today not related to the air traffic controllers. They're mostly all back at work with sickouts ending. They'll get most of their back pay by a Biden era regulation that wasn't yet in effect for the airport. Won't be the Trump administration scrapping the.

Plan to require airlines to pay passengers cash compensation for US flight disruptions caused by carriers. $200 for flight cancellations or significant delays due to mechanical problems or computer outages. And up to $775 for delays of nine hours or more. The Department of Transportation saying the rules would result in unnecessary regulatory burdens.

Imports out of El Salvador, Argentina, Ecuador and Guatemala is part of framework agreements aimed to lower the prices of goods including bananas, coffee and cocoa. The expectation is that retailers will pass on the cost savings to consumers on Wall Street.

The president just posted on true social costs are way down since he took office, adding Republicans are the party of affordability, which Democrats dispute, claiming prices rising out of control. US Trade Representative Jamison Greer says as part of the agreement, Switzerland is committing $200 billion in U.S. investments, including building U.S. pharmaceutical facilities. There's been a 20th US military strike on another suspected drug boat off the South American coast this week since the crackdown on illegal drug trafficking started in September, killing another four suspected smugglers, bringing the death total now to 80.
