With the government shutdown now over, the White House wants to pivot its messaging to the economy and what it can do to reassure Americans things aren't as bleak as many people believe. So what are those announcements going to be? More deals with pharmaceutical companies to bring down drug prices, efforts to address those higher mortgage rates, try to change the housing market, reducing tariffs on a number of products, as well as a possible $2,000 rebate check for some taxpayers.

But later last night he posted on true of the House should vote to release Epstein files because he and Republicans have nothing to hide in the probe and doing the underage girls sex trafficking scheme. The Supreme Court is taking up another Trump related case reviewing the administration's attempt to limit asylum processing claims made by migrants coming here illegally at the border. Now border patrols cracking down on illegal immigration far from Mexico in an operation in North Carolina. Fox's Madison's Carpinos in Charlotte.

Border patrol agents making dozens and dozens of arrests all around the city this weekend. We know 81 arrests were made in just five hours, according to CBP Commander Greg Bevino. And we're expecting that number to rise a lot. Bevino says most of those arrested have a, quote, significant criminal and immigration history.

It's a more normal travel day at airports. This morning. The FAA lifted restrictions put in place during the government shutdown. There are only 36 flights canceled today as Triple A predicts record Thanksgiving travel next week. America's listening to fox.

We mentioned air travel, getting back to normal with the government back open Federal food assistance programs are also fully funded again after a disruption in those benefits earlier this month. But people have to reapply for that.

I do not need lectures from anyone, says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He's responding to fury from far right members of his coalition over a U S backed statement from the United Nations. The draft resolution is in support of President Donald Trump's peace plan for Gaza. The plan indicates Palestinian statehood is possible if the Palestinian Authority reforms. Prime Minister Netanyahu over the weekend insisted his opposition to a Palestinian state remains unchanged, the Israeli leader's first public statement on the issue since he embraced President Trump's peace plan in September. We expect an update this hour out of New York City on the police officer shot this morning while responding to a deadly shooting in Brooklyn. That officer was said to be only grazed and in stable condition. And we've learned that the gunman who shot him is presumed dead. On Wall street, stocks are down, The Dow falling 110 points.
