Fox's Jared Halpern. The deal reportedly would require Ukraine to cede some of its territory to Russia. Zelensky has spoken with Vice President Vance and says he will work calmly to offer alternatives to the US Peace proposal, which reportedly has a Thursday deadline. New York City's Mayor Elect Mandani has arrived in Washington for his meeting later today with President Trump. After weeks of rhetoric between the two, the president says he expects the meeting will be civil. The House at this hour is debating a Republican backed resolution that would condemn socialism in all of its forms. Many of the Democrats objecting.

Democrats are making the argument that this resolution is way too broad, that it encompasses social programs like Social Security and Medicare, snap, even fire departments and public parks. And they do not want to denounce all of that.

Fox's Aisha Hosny on the Hill we should know by early next week whether the U.S. supreme Court will hear the Trump administration's appeal of lower court orders leaving birthright citizenship in place despite the president's executive order limiting it the way he says the founders intended. Nearly 37 years on death row ended last night for a Florida inmate. Richard Randolph was given a lethal injection for the rape and murder of a convenience store employee back in 1988. Wall street the Dow still trading higher, up about 160 points.
