There is selling on Wall street for the Nasdaq. It's down 183 points. The S&P 500 also dropping 20. But the Dow is on the rise, gaining 70 points. The price of oil is down more than a dollar, down to 57 bucks a barrel, while gas is a penny lower, bringing AAA's national average for regular today to 305 a gallon. That's the exact same price we were paying November 25 last year.
Jeff Flock
You know, when you talk to people about their perceptions, a lot of people thought it was going this. Why? Well, because of U.S. oil production, 13.794 million barrels per day produced in the U.S. that's more than any country has ever produced in history. And some people were thinking that's going to make prices even lower right now that 305 is about what it was a week ago, about what it was a month ago, about what it was a year ago. And consequently, perceptions among the motoring public vary.

I think overall this year it's less. Everything's much more expensive.
