But local leaders say that's not reasonable in that city unless the raids start targeting and arresting more than just violent defenders. Meantime, an illegal immigrant that had been deported by President Donald Trump and former President Joe Biden as well is now facing attempted murder charges after allegedly stabbing a man on a Charlotte light rail train.

Police say the suspect allegedly broke into a railroad car while intoxicated by before stabbing the victim. 33 year old Oscar Solonzo of Honduras was arrested and will be in court tomorrow. DHS confirming the suspect is a twice deported illegal migrant with a lengthy criminal history in the United States. He was deported by the Trump administration in 2018 and reentered illegally during the Biden administration in 2021. Then he was deported a second time by the Biden administration and then reentered illegally again. He also has a prior conviction for robbery in the U.S. prior arrest for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and false id.

The U.S. supreme Court said to take up a push by President Trump to end birthright citizenship.

So far, every lower court has blocked enforcement ruling the order is unconstitutional. The 14th Amendment has long been understood to recognize anyone born in the US Citizen. President Trump's order would deny automatic citizenship to children born to parents living in the country illegally. The Supreme Court will take up the Trump administration's appeal early next year with a ruling likely in the summer. At the White House, Jared Halpern, FOX News.

Republican lawmakers considering now an extension of Obamacare subsidies. A key ask for Democrats during the recent government shutdown. In October, New Jersey Congressman Jeff Van Drew, Republican on FOX and friends, to call for a temporary extension of those subsidies.

Senate Democrats introducing a bill last week that would extend the subsidies for a three year period, pledging it would decrease health care costs for Americans. But Senate Majority Leader Republican John Thune, South Dakota, criticizing that plan, telling reporters it will was, quote, designed to fail. At least 25 people, including tourists, killed in a fire at a popular nightclub in India's Goha State. The fire occurring during a due rather to a gas cylinder blast. It has been extinguished. All the bodies recovered, at least 100 people on the club's dance floor when that fire broke out. I'm Paul Stevens. This is FOX News.
