The judge ordered Abrego Garcia's release from ICE custody Thursday, saying there's never been a final order of removal for him. In fact, when he was deported to El Salvador, there had been an order meant to prevent his deportation.

In a crackdown on illegal immigrant truck drivers following deadly accidents, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy just said New York is the worst offender.

At that point, it appears more snapped. His wife called 911 saying he was suicidal after losing his job. And then a woman at the address of his executive assistant called 911 saying he has walked in with a knife and was attacking her after stalking her for months.

More than two thirds of U.S. adults say they've noticed higher than usual prices for groceries, electricity and holiday gifts in recent months. What that means is roughly half of Americans say it's harder than usual to afford the things they want to give as holiday gifts. So about half of Americans are bargain shopping for the lowest price, more than they would normally. Delaying big buys and cutting back on non essentials more than usual. 4 in 10 dipping into savings more than usual. Still, Black Friday set new spending records, but the attitudes the way people feel. The AP Nork poll finds the results look similar to December of 22 under Biden inflation.
