Police tell me that this person of interest was captured at a hotel in Coventry, Rhode island, at 3:45 this morning. This is about 17 miles south of Providence and Brown University, less than a half hour drive from where we are now. The police had a press conference this morning confirming that this person of interest, they have captured this suspected gunman. They did not give us any more information as to what may have led to this arrest. We know that this is the only video that has been made public. It shows the suspected gunman or person of interest walking out of the engineering and physics building right after the shooting.

At 4pm yesterday and that Saturday shooting happening during a final exam review session. Authorities meantime, report a deadly attack at a holiday gathering in Sydney, Australia, earlier today, leaving multiple people dead, including one of these suspected attackers.

There's been a terrorist attack in Sydney, Australia. At least 12 people are dead and more than two dozen wounded after two gunmen opened fire on Jews at a Hanukkah party along Bondi Beach. Australia's prime minister reacted to the event, saying this this is a targeted attack on Jewish Australians on the first day of Hanukkah, which should be a day an act of evil, antisemitism, terrorism. Local police put out a statement saying two people are in police custody at Bondi beach now. They have updated this statement to say one of the attackers is dead. Another remains in police custody.

Us envoys are in Berlin for another round of talks aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. President Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff and his son in law, Jared Kushner taking part as Ukrainian, U.S. and European officials prep for a series of meetings. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky saying the focus is on a political agreement for peace, though major obstacles remain, like control of eastern Ukraine and security guarantees. Chileans, meantime, head to the polls in a high stakes presidential runoff with ultra conservative former lawmaker Jose Antonio Cast holding a solid lead in the polls. His opponent is a communist candidate backed by the governing center Left coalition cast campaigns on a hardline platform that includes mass deportation of migrants and tougher law and order in general. At least one person killed when a U Haul truck explodes outside an Old Navy store in Lewiston, Idaho.

Investigators say the truck appeared to be carrying stored materials including gas, gasoline and propane tanks, according to a joint statement from Lewiston's police and fire departments. The Nez Perce county Coroner's office says 61 year old Douglas Peterson was killed in the blast. Preliminary findings suggest it was accidental. The explosion also caused damage to nearby businesses including Old Navy and the Courtyard Marriott. Although no fire erupted. The investigation is ongoing. Deborah Valentine, FOX News.

Meantime, President Trump is expected to sign an executive order as early as tomorrow to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug. Axios reports the order would encourage investments in cannabis companies and put them into different tax regulations.
