The Department of Homeland Security says the woman Renee Goode, deliberately drove into officers and the shooting was justified. New information about the man and woman shot and wounded by Customs and Border Patrol in Portland, Oregon yesterday.

First, a hero's welcome for the firefighters who battled a massive blaze that destroyed the packed bar in Crowns, Montana. Then, church bells across the nation for five minutes remembering the 40 dead that burned so severe officials needed families to supply DNA samples just to identify some victims. 116 people were injured and dozens are still hospitalized. Investigators believe sparkling candles atop champagne bottles raised too close to the ceiling ignited the blaze less than two hours after midnight at La Constellation Bar on January 1st. Authorities say fire safety inspections hadn't been carried out since 2019. Swiss authorities opening a criminal investigation into the bar managers. CJ Papa, Fox News CDC says flu.

Numbers through last week show declines in medical office visit due to flu like illness and in the number of states reporting high flu activity. But flu deaths and hospitalizations rose. More than 13,000 wireless chargers sold at TJ Maxx and Marshall's recalled over fears they could explode.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the ILO Ray brand magnetic wireless chargers were sold for 15 bucks from June of 24 till this past November, but can explode while in use, posing a fire and burn hazard. They came in white, pink and purple and attach magnetically to the back of the pH. Shoppers are advised to immediately stop using them and request a refund. But do not throw this lithium ion device in the trash or general recycling. It poses a fire risk, so check with your municipal hazardous waste collection center.
