Over 144 million people under winter storm warnings. I'm Lisa Licera, FOX News. The massive snow and ice storm stretches from Arizona to Maine, bringing freezing rain and ice to the south, which forecasters warn could lead to downed trees and power lines. The storm that heads to north later this weekend and blockbuster snowfalls predicted.

Northeast definitely gets in on some of the heavier totals. New York City is looking at upwards of a foot of snow that's expected. Take it up to Boston. We can see two feet of snow here. The big idea here along the i95 corridor is that we haven't seen a system of this magnitude with these type of totals in over 10 years. For some cities, we're going to challenge that. D.C. is going to be one of those places where we could get up to about a foot of snow. We're looking at just shy of that with the wintry mix now in the mix. Philadelphia may also see that there, too. Last time we've seen something to this magnitude, totals up to a foot has been back in 2016.

I want to encourage New Yorkers to do something that we don't often have the luxury of doing, which is to take a breath and stay home, stay indoors, stay off the roads, watch the snow come down, watch the worst possible reality TV show you can find and take some time away from the roads.

And Mamdani said he has not yet made up his mind whether schools would be open on Monday. The Pentagon says the US Military has carried out a deadly strike on a vessel it says was trafficking drugs in the eastern Pacific. It's the first such strike since Nicolas Maduro was removed as Venezuela's president earlier this month. America's listening to FOX News.
