Operation Hawkeye strike named in honor of the two soldiers from the Iowa National Guard and their American interpreter who were killed last week in Syria, but what CENTCOM called a lone ISIS gunman. President Trump spoke about the strikes last night at a rally in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina.
Donald Trump (0:32)
Massive strike on the terrorists that killed our three great patriots last week. Two soldiers, one interpreter, all great people. And it was very successful. It was precision. We hit every site flawlessly and we are restoring peace through strength. We're all over the world.

Over 70 Islamic State targets were hit across central and northern Syria last night.

The Pentagon didn't say how many ISIS members were killed. The US Military says that there were no US Casualties. Well, the protest today outside the Kennedy Arts center in Washington, a group opposing government censorship. Hands off the Arts. Is upset over plans to rename the building the Donald J. Trump and John F. Kennedy center for the Performing Arts. Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen, one of the demonstrators.
Chris Van Hollen (1:19)
We've got a lot of work to do. We've got a president who doesn't respect the arts. All he respects is cash from his donors and built buddies. He's in office to enrich himself and his family and the billionaires who were standing behind him when he was sworn in on Inauguration Day.
Chris DiMeo (1:39)
The Trump appointed board of trustees voted on Thursday to add Trump to the art center's name. Democrats say only Congress can make that change. The president says he was honored and surprised by the move. America's listening to Fox News.

If you could stop somebody from breaking in before they got inside, why wouldn't you? Most old school systems go off after someone's already in your place. That's too late. Simplisafe is different. It's proactive with a double layer of defense that stops crime before they start. First, AI powered cameras spot potential threats outside. Then live agents step in, talking to the person through the camera, letting them know they're on video and police will be dispatched if they don't leave. They can even trigger a loud siren or spotlight. That's how you help stop a crime before it starts. Plus, there's no contracts. And Simplisafe was just named the best home security of 2025 by U.S. news & World Report. It's also the best time to buy Simplisafe's last chance.
