major attack on Iran was scheduled for today. President Trump says, but at the request of Arab Gulf leaders, those strikes are on hold and there seems to be a very good chance that they can work something out. If we can do that without bombing the hell out of them, I'd be very happy. Over the weekend, the president warned Iran the clock is ticking and they better get moving fast or there won't be anything left of them. He now says while renewed attacks are postponed, he's directing the Pentagon to prepare for a full large scale assault of Iran on a moment's notice. At the White House, Halpern, FOX News.

after spending 21 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit, a Michigan man agrees to a settlement. Fox's John Saucier has more now 74

year old Jeff Titus was released from prison in 2023 and his murder convictions were erased. Back in 1990, a pair of hunters were shot and killed near his property in Kalamazoo County. After police initially cleared Titus murder charges were filed against him for the killing. Some 12 years later, a 30 page file on the case was found at the county sheriff's office and in it another suspect was suggested in the original investigation. The lawsuit that was just settled accused police of violating Titus rights by not sharing information, which cast doubt on witness testimony. The settlement is worth a reported five and a quarter million dollars. John Saucier, FOX News.

A California woman accused of paying people to register to vote makes a plea deal. Fox's Lisa Brady reports.

The Justice Department says 64 year old Brenda Lee Armstrong agrees to plead guilty after being charged, charged with one felony count of paying another person to register to vote. Federal prosecutors say she solicited signatures for ballot initiatives, often paying people two to three dollars, including in the skid row section of downtown LA, known for its homeless population, sometimes giving people her former LA address to list on registration forms. The plea agreement says Armstrong also received payment for each registered voter's signature. Working for about 20 years as a petition circulator. The Justice Department says false registrations are undermine Americans faith in elections. Lisa Brady, FOX News.

A strong quake reported in south China. A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck south China early today, killing a total of two people. That quake also toppled buildings and prompted evacuations. Four people in all were hurt. More than 7,000 residents had to be evacuated in South China due to today's strong earthquake. I'm Debra Valentine. This is FOX News.
