told ABC News he thinks an agreement with Iran will be reached over the next week. President Trump spent his time in meetings, including calls with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the leaders of Hezbollah. Through intermediaries he posted on True, he thinks the negotiations will continue at a rapid pace. In an interview with CNBC News, the president did not sound as optimistic. Here's what he said. I don't care if they're over. Honestly, I couldn't care less. And added that protracted negotiations have started to get very boring. Iran's foreign minister insists negotiations continue.

That leaves 13 US travelers who were on board the MV Hondius cruise ship traveling in the South Atlantic Ocean who remain at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. A hospital spokesperson said none of the American passengers have shown hantavirus symptoms, which can take from 21 to 42 days to develop. The disease is usually spread when people breathe in residue from contaminated rodent droppings, but this version, the Andes virus, can in rare cases be transmitted person to person. The World Health Organization said the three deaths on board the MV were linked to the outbreak. Granal Scott, FOX News, the state of

Department of Corrections confirms the release of Tina Peters, who was convicted of giving unauthorized access to her county's election system as part of a conspiracy theory about voter fraud. She was sentenced to nine years in prison, but that sentence was commuted by Colorado's Democratic governor, Jared Polis, following public pressure from President Trump and his conservative allies. Polis commuted the sentence last month, calling the prison term extremely unusual and lengthy for a first time nonviolent offender. Colorado Secretary of State Jenna Griswold criticized the move, warning it will embolden the election denier movement. Jared Halpern, Fox News.

The civil trial over the deadly collapse of the Baltimore Francis Scott Key Bridge is on hold for now. Fox's Lisa Lacera has a story.
Lisa Lacera
District Judge James Bradar has agreed to postpone the trial over the bridge collapse after a number of last minute settlements resolved most of the remaining claims, including deals over the deaths of six construction workers who were filling potholes on the bridge when the container ship Dali lost power and crashed into the bridge in the early morning hours of March 26, 2024. Less than two weeks ago, radar rejected a prior request to delay the trial after criminal charges against the companies that operated the Dali were filed. The judge now says the trial is postponed indefinitely to consider legal arguments that could lead to further settlements and possibly end the litigation without a trial. Lisa Lacera, Fox News.

Officials have issued an ash ball advisory for the communities near the Hawaii Volcanoes national park, and several flights were canceled on Monday. I'm Sue Gosman. This is Fox News.
