That average creeping up to 85.6 degrees Fahrenheit Tuesday, setting a new record as the hottest day ever in France. The previous record being 84.9 degrees Fahrenheit set during heat waves in 2003 and 2019. The Eiffel Tower in the Louvre Museum had to restrict visiting hours around Europe.
