This is a FOX News alert. New York City police say a mass shooter had a mental history. I'm Carmen Roberts. A gun toting man walked into a New York City office tower on Park Avenue Monday night and shot five people. Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch.

Four innocent victims are dead. Among them is NYPD Police Officer Dida Rule Islam, 36 years old, four years on the job. Officer Islam was married with two young boys. His wife is pregnant with their third child.

Fifth victim is in critical condition. Tish says the gunman, 27 year old Shane Tamura of Las Vegas shot and killed himself in the building, which houses the NFL and several financial firms including Blackstone and kpmg.
