British Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he will recognize Palestine as a state during the UN General assembly meeting in September unless Israel takes, in his words, substantive steps to end the appalling situation in Gaza, including a ceasefire. He also called on Hamas to release the hostages and not be part of the government. Meantime, the UN is calling a ceasefire summit. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce calling the United nations meeting this week to promote an Israel Palestinian two state solution a publicity stunt. Far from promoting peace, the conference will prolong the war, will embolden Hamas and reward its obstruction and undermine real world efforts to achieve real peace. Israel's government opposes a two state solution and the US has called the meeting counterproductive to end the war in Gaza. Our focus remains on serious diplomacy, not stage managed conferences designed to manufacture the appearance of relevance. Both the US And Israel are boycotting.

The image released by state police was taken from behind and doesn't show the man's face and comes a day after the release of a composite sketch. Police are asking nearby residents to check security cameras to see if he was spotted as the manhunt continues for the person who killed a married couple hiking with their two young daughters in Devil's Den State Park. Investigators have not said how Clinton and Kristen Brink were killed, but did say the killer was likely injured during the attack. Family members say the Brinks died protecting their girls aged nine and seven, and are calling them heroes. Tom Rigotti, FOX News and the conference.
