The Texas House speaker gave Democrats a deadline to show up or face consequences. Quorum was not met yet again while dozens of Democrats are in blue states refusing to come back. We did speak to one Democrat though who did show up. Texas House Speaker Dustin Burroughs now says there are no more direct deposits. If Democrats want to get paid, they will have to show up in person. The House speaker is also working with the Texas attorney general to enforce civil arrest warrants in Illinois. The FBI helping locate those absent members.
