The White House is considering inviting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Alaska, where President Trump is set to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday. It's not clear if Zelensky and Putin would sit down together. The push comes as diplomacy ramps up to end the more than three year war. Zelensky insisting that his country will not give up any territory captured by Russia after Trump suggested there could be some, quote, swapping of territories to end the conflict. Meantime, Vice President JD Vance and the UK's Foreign Minister hosted a summit in Britain with Ukrainian and European allies. U.S. officials say significant progress was made. Zelensky also called the meeting constructive.

Zelensky said he is not open to ceding any land to Russia after President Trump said a potential peace deal could involve some swapping of territories. California's Governor Gavin Newsom welcomed Democratic lawmakers from Texas who left the state to avoid voting on a plan to redraw the congressional maps. Democrats aren't showing any signs of coming back for the special session despite Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's actions to ramp up the consequences. In his lawsuit to remove 13 Dems from office. Paxton says these cowards deliberately sabotaged the constitutional process and violated the oath they swore to uphold. Their out of state rebellion cannot go unchecked and the business of Texas must go on. Still, many Duns remain holed up in blue states including Massachusetts, New York, Illinois and California.

Millions of Americans are under severe weather threats tonight through the weekend. Powerful storms are forecast to slam parts of the Midwest, Central Plains and Southeast through Monday. Tornadoes have already been reported across Colorado and flooding is a big concern across parts of the Midwest where about 9 inches of rain could fall. Record heat is also expected for the Southwest.

Protests have popped up across Europe from Berlin to London calling for an end to the war. And over in Tel Aviv, residents gathered calling on the Israeli government to secure a deal to release all hostages with while strongly condemning its decision to fully occupy Gaza City. Fox's Bill Hemmer sat down with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who outlined more sweeping plans.

Meanwhile, the UN Security Council will hold an emergency session on Gaza a Sunday. It was rescheduled due to concerns about holding a meeting on the Jewish Sabbath. British police said they arrested 365 people in central London today as supporters of a recently banned pro Palestinian group intentionally flouted the law as part of their effort to force the government to reconsider the ban. Parliament in early July passed a law banning Palestine action and making it a crime to publicly support the organization. I'm Debra Valentine. This is FOX News.
