Air Canada says it is slowly resuming flights after reaching a tentative agreement with the union representing 10,000 flight attendants who went on strike Saturday.

The tentative agreement between Air Canada and the union representing its flight attendants coming on day four of the strike, which upended travel for an estimated half million passengers. And after flight attendants defied two return to work orders from an industrial relations board which ruled the strike unlawful. The union says the airline will now pay for work done while planes are on the ground, such as boarding passengers. That was one of the major issues which drove the strike. Air Canada says wages would rise by 8% the first year and that flights are slated to resume this evening. But return to full regular service could take more than a week. Lillian Wu, FOX News.

Cale Bates was pronounced dead following a three drug injection at a Florida state prison for the 1982 murder of an insurance office worker abducted from her office. The husband of victim Janet White was a witness to the execution of the 67 year old. He was convicted of abducting White, attempting to rape her and then stabbing her to death and stealing her diamond ring. Gary Baumgarten, FOX News.

A federal appeals court blocks West Texas A and M University from enforcing a campus ban on drag shows. The court ruled that the performances are likely protected under the First Amendment. And that ruling from the 5th U.S. circuit Court of Appeals versus a lower court's decision upholding the president's order from the University that the 2023 cancellation of a drag show was legit. And the decision means that the student group that brought the lawsuit can proceed while the lawsuit goes through court. This is FOX news.
