In a letter shared to Truth Social, President Trump cites a criminal referral from Bill Pulte, the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, who has claimed Cook falsified bank documents and property records alleging she claimed two different properties were her primary residences when obtaining mortgages. 2021 in the letter addressed to Cook, the president explains, in light of your deceitful and potentially criminal conduct in a financial matter, I do not have such confidence in your integrity. Cook responded in a statement saying that President Trump purported to fire her for cause when no cause exists under the law and repeating her earlier vow that she will not resign as president. Trump weighs sending National Guard troops to other cities, Chicago and Baltimore. He's also taking another step, he says, to fight crime. On Monday, the president signed an executive order ending cashless bail.

Israeli forces hit the upper level of Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza they're hit by another strike captured on live tv. Palestinian officials say the two strikes on the medical complex in Khan Younis killed at least 20. Among the dead five journalists who work for agencies like the Associated Press, Reuters and Al Jazeera. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling the strike a tragic mishap and that military authorities are conducting a thorough investigation. The IDF confirmed it carried out a strike in the area of Nasser Hospital, adding it regrets any harm to civilians and does not target journalists.

Fox's Jeff Paul in Tel Aviv, a judge rules that the Utah legislature must rapidly withdraw redraw the state's congressional boundaries because the GOP controlled body circumvented safeguards put in place by voters to ensure that districts are not drawn in favor of any party. A major dust storm hit Phoenix Monday. The massive wall of dust from the largest monsoon storm this year rolled across South Mountain and led to the ground stop at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The dust storm winds damaged the Terminal 4 there and flights have resumed. Visibility was near zero on many roads and about 40,000 customers are without power. More Canadians are moving to Canada. Data from Ottawa shows more Americans applied.
