News Federal officials say they plan to leave no stone unturned in their investigation into the murder of conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. FBI Director Kash Patel tells telling Fox's Hannity we are going to be interviewing scores of people on not just these chats on Discord, but any communications. Tell says dozens of electronic devices have already been seized in the home of suspect Tyler Robinson and his romantic partner. And investigators are looking at all communications. Says the FBI obtained a text allegedly written by Robinson in which he said he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and was going to do that. Vice President JD Vance guest hosting the Charlie Kirk radio show and podcast today following the 31 year old's assassination last week.

An appeals court has ruled Lisa Cook can remain a Federal Reserve governor for now, rebuffing President Trump's efforts to remove her. Just ahead of a key vote on interest rates, the Trump administration expected to quickly turn to the Supreme Court in a last ditch bid on C. Cook before the Fed meets. The president says Cook was fired for caught. She's under investigation for alleged mortgage fraud. Meantime, the Senate has approved White House economist Stephen Myron to serve on the Federal Reserve Board. Myron was nominated to fill the remaining term of former Fed Governor Adriana Kugler's term, which was set to expire in January 2026. The trial continues. So the man accused of attempting to assassinate then candidate Donald Trump at his South Florida golf course, Brian Ruth, is serving as his own lawyer.

The government's first witness has already taken the stand, but this morning Judge Cannon brought up potential issues with Ruth's witness list, specifically with his son Oren, who is currently sitting in federal prison in North Carolina on child pornography charges. She asked Ruth if he's still planning on calling him to the stand because there has already been a lot of planning and resources spent on getting him here to Florida. He told the judge he will have an answer by tomorrow. First on the stand this morning is an FBI evidence technician who searched Ruth's car that he used to flee the scene. She's presenting to the jury what was found inside, including an explosion fired Hawaii driver's license, a US Passport, six cell phones, a debit card and handwritten notes with flights to South America.

Fox's Dana Marie McNicol US military has once again targeted a suspected drug boat from Venezuela, killing three people aboard the vessel. President Trump announcing this strike and posting on social media today. No immediate comment from the Venezuelan government. This comes two weeks after a similar strike was made on a speedboat that left 11 dead. President Trump and administration officials describing people on this boat as narco terrorists. I'm Sue Guzman.
