Judge Gregory Caro dismissed two state terror charges in New York's case against Luigi Mangione, calling the evidence behind the charges legally insufficient. Mangioni's lawyers wanted the judge to throw out second degree murder charges against their client as well, arguing that the New York case and a parallel federal death penalty case amounted to double jeopardy. The judge rejected that argument, saying that it would be premature to do that. Mangione appeared in court wearing a tan prison jumpsuit and did not speak to reporters. He has pleaded not guilty to killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December, accused of shooting him from behind as he arrived at the New York Hilton in midtown Manhattan in New York City. The UK they are rolling out the red carpet for President Trump. Look, there will be an awful lot of pageantry, but the UK really hoping that there will be some trade deals as well. The ceremony is really going to start at the 1,000-year-old Windsor Castle. And you can expect to see white tie dinners. You can expect to see gun salutes. You can expect to see a carriage procession. And Trump also laying a wreath at the tomb of Queen Elizabeth. Now, the security will be incredibly tight. There's going to be an unprecedented drone operation in the skies both at Windsor tomorrow and then on Wednesday at Chekers, which is the prime minister's country house. And that is where the tech and the trade will be discussed.

The president also expected to discuss the war between Russia and Ukraine as he calls on EU nations who stop buying oil from Russia to urge an end to the war. New report states the fatal traffic deaths in the United States are down. Fox's Kevin Yaretsky has details.

The report issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states that the amount of people killed in car accidents fell over 8% in the first half of this year, decreasing from more than 18,600 in 2024 to just over 17,000 this year. That's the lowest rate for the first six months of the year since 2014. The numbers mark a downturn following big jumps during the pandemic due to the less crowded roads During COVID many drivers increased their speed as they felt police were less likely to give out tickets. That led to a nearly 11% jump in traffic deaths in 2021 to more than 43,000, the highest number in more than 40 years.
