Multiple people were shot early today in Indianapolis. Charles Benberry of Fox TV Indianapolis affiliate WXIN reports.
Charles Benberry
In total, we have about seven people that have been shot or that were involved in the shooting so far. So what officers have told us when they arrived here on scene, they saw five victims who all sustained injuries that were consistent with gunshot wounds. They did try to render aid to at least a couple people. Three were transported to a hospital, but unfortunately they did pronounce that two victims did die. They did receive a report that a person walked into a local hospital with gunshot wounds and then another victim actually walked into a fire station. Both had injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
