He didn't offer many specifics. There was a little bit of bipartisan talk today where you had about two dozen Democratic and Republican senators meeting in the Senate chamber during a vote series. What their talking about right now is maybe a month long interim spending bill end of October, 1st of November. And what it would do is renew some of these Obamacare subsidies, which is central to the Democratic argument, but only for a year and then wind them down after that test.

Votes for bills from both Republicans and Democrats failed. And the American Federation of Government Employees and the American Federation of State, county and Municipal Employees sued the Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vogt for his mass firing threats. Walmart just announced it's eliminating synthetic dyes from all its food brands. The administration is also focusing on making pharmaceuticals more accessible.
