The Gaza ceasefire holding. Angelo Bavaro, FOX News. The first phase of that peace deal between Israel and Hamas is underway, with Israel beginning to move troops back. Fox's Jennifer Griffin with the latest on how the US Will take part in those ongoing negotiations for the future of Gaza.

They will be working with the Egyptians, the Turks, the Qataris, as well as the idf. And they will also have aerial surveillance. They will be coordinating humanitarian aid, security aid, aid, and they will be preparing for the reconstruction of Gaza. But the biggest question is, will Hamas disarm? We've seen no evidence of it as yet. The statements from the Hamas leaders do not suggest that they will disarm. And if they don't, then you could be back to fighting in a very short period of time. But first, they're focusing on getting the hostages home.

And that hostage swap could begin as soon as this weekend. A nor' easter is delivering high tides and potentially dangerous winds and rain to the East Coast. Fox Weather's Robert Ray is in Ocean City, Maryland.
