Ceasefire back on. I'm Sue Guzman, Fox News. President Trump weighing in on the apparent breach in the ceasefire he brokered between Israel and Hamas. Israel retaliated after a deadly strike on IDF troops. The president says he doesn't believe Hamas.
Steve Witkoff
Leadership was responsible, according to the Israelis. Again at this hour, the cease fire is back on track. But we do know US Officials are headed to the region this week, including President Trump's Middle east envoy Steve Witkoff tomorrow. And then on Tuesday, Vice President J.D. vance the Americans are going to work to try to get this cease fire back on track and push Hamas to release the remaining bodies of hostages that are still held inside Gaza. Now, once that takes place, they will enter into phase two of this agreement and you'll have regional negotiators, including the Qataris and the Egyptians work to try to implement this international stabilization force that will help to lower the tension inside Gaza and and ultimately usher in that technocratic government that is part of this 20 point peace plan crafted by President Trump himself.

The race is on to find these pieces that have been taken. This all happened during daylight hours when the public was inside. The French interior minister said the masked intruders were well prepared, prepared saying they used a basket lift mounted to a truck, broke a window and cut panes with a disc cutter. This all happening at the Palo Gallery where the French crown jewels are kept and is also right by the River Seine where construction is also taking place. Now once inside, they broke into display cases, stole nine items. One of those items was later found outside. French media outlets say it was the crown of Napoleon III's wife, Empress Eugenie, but it was broken.

California Governor Gavin Newsom starting a heated social media exchange with the White House about the Marines 250th anniversary, expressing that the display of military power is dangerous and, as he put it, an absurd show of Force. Fox's Jeff Paul has the details.

U.S. marine officials have stated there was nothing unsafe about the exercise and firing artillery is a routine occurrence at the base. Republicans, like California Congressman Darrell Issa called Newsom's highway shutdown a, quote, spiteful publicity stunt. While Vice President Vance didn't mention it outright during his remarks, he did call out Democrats regarding the government shutdown. Now we did reach out to the communications folks for Vice President Vance regarding Governor Newsom's comments and the highway shutdown. They tell us if Gavin Newsom wants to oppose the training exerc exercises that ensure our armed forces are the deadliest and most lethal fighting force in the world, then he can go right ahead.

The White House then responded, calling Governor Newsom a liar. He explained that he closed the highway when nobody at the White House and the Marines asked him to do so. Disgraced former US Congressman George Santos of Long island, resurfacing on a popular personalized video site after President Trump commuted his sentence. Fox's Grinnell Scott has more.
Grinnell Scott
Santos, now a free man after his fraud sentence was commuted by President Trump, is active once again on Camp, the site known for its personalized messages for a hefty cost. The site has been lucrative for Santos in the past. He claims he's taken in at least $600,000 for making the videos. His current page sets a personal message from him at a minimum $300. Businesses can book Santos for marketing purposes at $5,000 and up. Santos was expelled in December 2023 from Congress and later convicted for fraud in August 2024. He serv months of a seven year sentence. Gernall Scott, Fox News I'm Sue Guzman.
