FBI says the terrorism task force is now investigating after two homemade explosive devices were thrown outside the mayor's home here in New York City yesterday. It happened during competing anti and pro Muslim protest after a man was seen throwing a device. Then it started smoking. Dozens of demonstrators and counter protesters fled. There were no injuries, thankfully, and no explosion. Police later chased another man with a similar device who ultimately dropped it. NYPD says the devices were made of glass jars wrapped in electrical tape containing bolts, screws and nuts and a hobby fuse that could be lit.

You do not see tornadoes this violent this far north in the month of March. This is actually the earliest we've had an EF3, which is a preliminary rating given by the National Weather Service in Michigan in state history. There were screams heard as tornado alerts were issued across the area, but unfortunately, three fatalities, the community's mourning and no one missing as of late. There were 12 injuries reported here as well. No one in critical condition. So hopefully, at least in Union City, that death toll does not climb. But severe weather is still in the cards here in Michigan on Tuesday. We're in the heart of severe weather season.
