And that's why he announced this major bombing campaign overnight that he says struck just only military targets. The president posting the operation on Truth Social. It begins with this the United States, United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the history of the Middle east and totally obliterated every military target in Iran's crown jewel, Kharg Island. I have chosen not to wipe out the oil infrastructure on the island. However, should Iran or anyone else do anything to interfere with the free and safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision.

Spring break is here, but the State Department is warning students and tourists alike to rethink any possible trips to Mexico, citing safety risks from a jump in drug cartel violence.

Aaa, for example, publishing a whole piece saying this, quote, ongoing cartel conflicts in parts of Mexico led to temporary spikes in violence, prompting heightened US Security alerts, including shelter in place place notices in some popular resort regions. While most tourist visit to Mexico occur without incident, short term flare ups underscore why travelers should review current destination specific guidance before departure.
