Some Democrats say that's Republicans caving. Senate Majority Leader John Thune says Democrats will now not get the ICE reforms they wanted.

The Democrats shut down funding for the entire Department of Homeland Security because they didn't want to fund law enforcement. They now own the moniker they they are the party of open borders. Anti law enforcement. Defund the police.

The repassed Senate bill is sent back to the House as Republican leaders push a new plan to fund ICE and cbp.

Separately, Republicans point out that both ICE and CBP were already pre funded via the One Big Beautiful bill which passed last summer. And they say they plan to give both agencies a whole lot more cash in an upcoming reconciliation bill in the coming weeks and months that won't require any Democratic votes to pass in the Senate. And President Trump says he wants that bill on his desk by June 1st at the latest.

Police have said woods told them he had taken pain medication earlier. Now the driver of the other truck tells police that he was stopped and getting ready to make a turn when Tiger clipped the trailer behind his truck. Fox's Dana Marie McNichol woods has since pleaded not guilty to charges including DUI and says he's stepping back from golf and seeking treatment. America is listening to Fox News just getting word. A re sentencing is ordered by a Colorado appeals court for a former county clerk convicted in a scheme that attempted to prove fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Tina Peters, serving a nine year prison term convicted of state crimes for sneaking in an outside computer expert to copy county election information during a software update. Some confidential passwords later posted online. Judges in the Colorado Court of Appeals now say a judge should not have considered her continued promotion of election fraud conspiracies while when she was sentenced a teacher remains hospitalized after a school shooting in Texas.
