Fairbanks, for example, about 520 miles to the south, will enjoy 24 hours of daylight for the next 70 days. Video posted online appears to show the sun move down to the horizon before slowly moving up to the sky. In places like Anchorage, the sun sets as late as 10:42pm local time during the summer, which is much later than states on the east coast of the nation. C.J.
