And he says China's agreed to buy 200 planes. China has not confirmed any of those deals. The death toll from a Russian missile attack that flattened the Kyiv apartment building rises to 24, including three teenagers.

It's been described as some of the worst Russian attacks in the war. Ukraine's foreign minister said when President Trump and Chinese leader Xi met in Beijing, they should have applied pressure on Moscow to halt the fighting.

The all Republican court dealt a blow to Governor Greg Abbott and state Republicans in their efforts to severely punish the more than 50 Democrats who bolted for other states in a bid to stop a vote on those maps. The FBI is training officers to deploy electronic defense systems capable of intercepting drones over packed stadiums ahead of next month's FIFA World Cup.

The work to keep Americans safe at the World cup at America 250 and Bey is happening here at this facility. Another group of state and local law enforcement officers will be graduating the FBI's Counter Drone Training School, which authorizes them to take defensive action against suspicious drones. Historically, that has been a federal authority. However, after President Trump signed the Safer Skies act back in December, it opened a pathway to a more coordinated drone defense plan. We had a behind the scenes look at this training program. During the process, teams practice jamming or hijacking suspicious drones to redirect them away from sensitive sites.
