Another Trump back candidate had a big night here in the commonwealth. Congressman Andy Barr easily won his Senate primary. Up until Trump endorsed him, this had been a very close race. Barr told his supporters he sees the election as a check on blue states.

Target sales in the recent quarter were its strongest in about four years. It's been working on turning around stores, improving product selection, customer service and store layouts. Target CEO Michael Fidelke says it was helped by demand picking up for its baby toy and health products. Though Target previously found itself in the middle of cultural disputes and social media backlash, it says now sales are coming from all types of shoppers and regions.
