A new ruling in the Charlie Kirk case on Lisa Brady FOX News. The judge in Utah just ruling that a prosecutor did violate a gag order by speaking to reporters about the state's case against accused assassin Tyler Robinson.

Judge Graf just found one of the Utah county prosecutors, Chris Ballard, in contempt for violating the court's pre trial publicity order. Now Tyler Robinson's defense was asking for the death penalty to be removed from the case as punishment but but Judge Graff declined saying it's grossly misproportionate to the misconduct. Instead, Judge Graff said that this is a civil contempt and the state is going to have to pay fees.

Fox's Matt Finn however, the judge cleared the prosecutor's statements about ballistics evidence that had been publicly questioned by the defense, ruling that those statements to the press were narrowly tailored. A former top US Official pleads guilty. John Bolton, who served as national security adviser during the first Trump term before later becoming a vocal critic of the president, admits legally retaining classified information.

Volkswagen is planning its biggest overhaul in the company's 89 year history. Reports in Germany say VW is looking to cut up to 100,000 jobs, some of them in North America and will end production at four plants in Germany. VW is dealing with tariffs, competition from China, Chinese electric vehicles and its own expensive EV production. The automaker isn't commenting on the report.

Fox's Jenny Kosola the Wall Street Journal says the CEO plans to slash European production while unions prepare to fight additional cuts. Fans of Lionel Richie will have to wait after two shows were postponed, announced earlier this week when he called for intermission during an opening night performance in Minnesota and then could not finish the show.

A statement shared by the United center on social media confirmed that Richie, who was 77, won't be performing in Chicago Columbus, Ohio, this weekend because he's been advised to rest and return to full health by his doctors. With him gone, the Mets turned to former San Diego Padres skipper Andy Green to be their interim manager the rest of the season. Green had been the Mets senior vice president of player development.
