Reading every word of it out loud. I'm Jack Callaghan, FOX News. The so called big beautiful budget bill, all 940 pages of it in the Senate chamber at Democrats insistence. This after the Senate narrowly voted to advance the bill to its final hours of debate last night.

They're technically supposed to read the bill out loud. There are what they call three readings of a bill.

And in the old days, there was.

Only one copy of the bill. You know, it was written on parchment paper. They did this with a scroll and a quill. So if you didn't actually see received the bill, you could heard it read. And it was pretty short. And you've got three chances to be in the chamber to hear it. What routinely happens is the clerk reads just the title of the bill and then somebody asks unanimous consent to say we're going to terminate the reading of the bill. That happens almost constantly. And so here Chuck Schumer objected and that is his right.

Foxy Chad Pergrim reports. Debate will begin later today, followed by hours of voting on various amendments. After more than 630 days of fighting, efforts to end the Israel Hamas war are ramping up as Fox's Trey Yingst reports from Tel Aviv.

President Trump says that a ceasefire could be reached to end the war in Gaza within a week. Now if that happens, the region could see the remaining 50 hostages freed from Hamas captivity and much of the suffering alleviated for the Palestinian people. The president is looking to build off the momentum that was reached following the end of the 12 day war between Israel and Iran. Tomorrow, Ron Dermer, a top adviser to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is scheduled to visit Washington to move the process forward. As these diplomatic efforts take place, they may also lead to additional normal mobilization deals in the region and more stability for the Middle East.

Russia launched its largest aerial assault of the war overnight, firing more than 500 drones and missiles at Ukraine. Delta airlines temporarily pulled 100 planes from service at its Atlanta hub to inspect for hail damage. The impacts of the storm lingering into Saturday with more than 500 cancellations and more than 1000 delays. Delays just yesterday and so far today.
