Service is admitting to major failures. And those are outlined in a new report that came out not only saying they didn't communicate that day, but also finding that they knew there was a threat against President Trump's life for 10 days. But hey, they didn't tell any of their Secret Service agents who were working that day. So these are some of the pages of that GAO report. Senator Chuck Grassley says he worked on this for months, even came out here the GAO did to talk to people. The agency knew there was that threat for days, but it didn't alert local law enforcement because they kind of silo they say that intel just to their top people. That doesn't help because the agents on the ground needed to know that they think they would have done things differently. Also, who was out here surveying and securing the rally site? Well, it was a brand new agent.

The Secret Service's drone was not working that day. The operator didn't know how to fix it after only one hour of training. While rain threatens the Texas people. 20 people died on July 4th.

Officials fear the Guadalupe river will reach flood stage in Hunt and they're asking anyone in the water to get out as we see lightning and downpours. So we know this is a massive search and recovery effort still underway. The storms making their way into Kerr county officials have a code red alert in effect to warn people of the flooding that they do expect happening. We're already seeing some of that water pooling in the streets. And of course, crews are concerned that the rain that we're seeing is going to impact the search efforts. We know from some rescue workers I've been speaking with, they say any rain is a setback, but this is a lot of it.

Mike Walz is expected to answer questions before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday. Waltz, a former Republican Florida congressman left Congress to serve as President Trump's national security adviser but left that position in May after he mistakenly included a journalist in a signal chat that discussed plans for a military strike in Yemen. He is likely to face more scrutiny and tough questions over that from Democratic committee members.
