When questioning the man, the deputies found a loaded magazine for a semiautomatic rifle inside the car's glove box. When the opened the compartment to retrieve his rental agreement, they would then find the rifle as well as an assortment of knives underneath a blanket on the seat. He's since been taken into custody and identified as 41 year old Michael Rodriguez. The deputies suspect he could have been plotting something like a mass shooting.
