No deal after a big meeting. I'm Paul Stevens, Fox News. President Trump expected to meet now with another leader following his Alaska summit Friday with Russia's President Vladimir Putin. Fox's Peter Doocy in Anchorage.

President Trump had to call Vladimir Zelensky aboard Air Force One while he was leaving Alaska to tell him that Putin is not playing ball right now on a ceasefire. But Monday it's Zelensky's turn to come to the U.S. president Trump says it was determined to by all that the best way to end the horrific war between Russia and Ukraine is to go directly to a peace agreement which would end the war and not a mere cease fire agreement. And next up, a possible meeting of all three leaders. Putin is pitching it on his turf. President Putin told President Trump at one point that he would not have started the Ukraine war if President Trump was in office. President Trump continuously blames Biden for this war beginning now. Trump is trying to end it, but it is turning into a slow and tedious process.

And the coming meeting with Vladimir Zelensky will, will be his first visit to the US Back in February, President Trump and Ukraine's European allies had been calling for a ceasefire ahead of any negotiations. Meantime, the president speaking with fox's Sean Hannity after Friday's meeting.

I mean, we were together almost three hours and it was very extensive and we agreed on a lot of points. I mean, a lot of points were agreed on, but there's not that much. There's, you know, one or two pretty significant items, but I think they can be reach. Now it's really up to President Zelinsky to get it done.

And Friday's trip to the US By President Putin, marking his first in a decade. And lawyers for A representative Lamonica McIver filing motions to dismiss federal charges against her. You may remember she's accused of assaulting and interfering with ICE officers outside of a New Jersey detention center during a congressional oversight visit to that facility back in May. It all happened after Attorney General Pam Bondi tried to appoint the head of the DEA to be the emergency police commissioner. Local officials not happy with what they saw as a power grab, sued. And after a federal hearing, the White House made a deal with the city letting their police chief stay in charge. But her powers are limited. 800 National Guard soldiers are now patrolling the streets of D.C. along with hundreds of federal agents as part of Trump's crime crackdown. The Department of Justice says as of Friday, there's been 189 arrests, including two homicide suspects, 17 drug traffickers, 39 illegal gun offenders, two sexual predators, and 75 illegal immigrants.

Now, the government has 25 days left in the federal takeover, but President Trump has implied he may want to extend that takeover. Hurricane Aaron strengthening into a category four storm approaching the Caribbean. Fox Weather's Robert Ray with the latest. He's on St. Thomas in the U.S. virgin Islands.

We are beginning to feel some breezy conditions, which we felt overnight, and some rain as this storm has rapidly increased. It is to the northeast of where we are at and we will feel the effects. What we are in for for the rest of the day is deteriorating conditions throughout the United States Virgin Islands, including Puerto Rico, which is to the west of where we're at. Thankfully, a direct hit is not in play as the system will make that turn up into the Atlantic and likely cut in between Bermuda and mainland US.

And we have just gotten word Hurricane Aaron is now strengthened to a Category 5 storm once again. Cat 5 classification. Now for Hurricane Aaron. I'm Paul Stevens and this is FOX.
