Harjinder Singh facing three counts of vehicular homicide, three counts of manslaughter and he has not yet entered a plea of guilty or not guilty. The judge acknowledged Singh is an illegal alien. She said he's a substantial flight risk. Sing saying no conditions of release would ensure his appearance at trial. So all this comes after Singh allegedly killed three people on a Florida highway earlier this month. Video shows Singh making an illegal U turn in an 18 wheeler while a minivan crashes into the truck. Questions remain as to how Singh was able to get a commercial driver's license in both California and Washington state.

The Trump administration suspending the business license for the trucking company that hired Singh, according to Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis. Several cities have already seen record highs this weekend. The sweltering heat is expected to last through Monday. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Fernand has formed southeast of Bermuda. It could become a hurricane by Monday before weakening on Tuesday. It's not expected to hit land.

Hurricane Erin, which was the first named Atlantic hurricane of the 2025 season, also did not make landfall. That newly formed Tropical Storm FERNAND now about 400 miles south southeast of Bermuda.
