The church hopes the returning to Mass will help parishioners regain a sense of normality. Before last night's service began, Father Dennis Zarin spoke about the attack and his effort to try and protect students as a gunman fired into the church during a mass Wednesday morning. Eighteen people were hurt, 15 of whom were children. Two children were killed and they were remembered last night. Minnesota Bishop Robert Barron is emphasizing the importance of prayer, arguing some people misunderstand its role.
