We have learned that the roommate of the alleged shooter is actually a romantic partner who is a male transitioning to a female. FBI sources tell FOX that the roommate has been extremely cooperative and quote, had no idea their significant other was planning to assassinate Charlie Kirk. Those sources also tell FOX that when the alleged shooter's father confronted him about Kirk's murder, he said he wanted to kill himself rather than turn himself in. But we know it was the father and a minister the family knew that were able to get him to surrender. We also know there are ongoing discussions at the Department of Justice about potentially filing federal charges against him as well. And officials have said repeatedly that the death penalty will be on the table in this case.

Utah's Governor Spencer Cox telling ABC News Robinson is refusing to cooperate with investigators. Turning Point USA says Kirk's funeral will be held next Sunday in Arizona with President Trump expected to attend. A suspect is now in custody for the shooting of a Georgia police captain. Timothy Craig Ramsey was taken into custody Saturday evening following an hours long standoff. The standoff followed a tip about a suspicious person. Police Chief Michael Otis early says Ramsey is accused of shooting McCose captain Brantley Worley during a traffic stop.

President Trump will head to Britain this week for his second state visit. There, he's expected to sign a new groundbreaking tech deal. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio is in Israel today pushing for an end to the war in Gaza. Fox's Madeleine Rivera has details in Washington.

The British Embassy in Washington, D.C. says the U.S. and the U.K. are set to sign a landmark technology agreement as part of the president's visit. The partnership will report reportedly focus on key technologies including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, telecommunications and quantum computing. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is in Israel this he says his focus will be on securing the hostages, ramping up humanitarian aid and addressing the threat of Hamas. Rubio is expected to talk about the possibility of Israeli annexation of parts of the occupied west bank, an Israeli official tells Axios. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to learn in his meeting with Rubio whether President Trump would support such a move.

Secretary Rubio's trip comes as Israel attacked Gaza, killing at least 13 Palestinians, according to the Hamas controlled authorities there.
