There were high hopes the 25% tariffs could be slashed to zero. Reports emerged a few days ago that the discussions had been shelved. And the takeaway from that conversation, as far as we can tell, is there will be no movement there. President Trump said to Starmer that it was a very tough negotiation and he thinks that the UK Got the better end of the deal. And so that would indicate for now at least, that those tariffs are not going to see any changes.

President Trump says one of his few disagreements with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is over Israel's handling of the war in Gaza, with the UK Expected to soon join multiple other countries in recognizing a Palestinian state.

49% of Americans surveyed say the military response from Israel in the Gaza Strip has gone too far, compared to 42% this time last year. 33% say it's been about right. 12 say it hasn't gone far enough. More Republicans than Democrats or independents in this AP NORC poll are on Israel's side. 37% of Americans approve of President Trump's handling of the conflict, down from 44% in March. 38% say America's role in solving global issues is about right 27% say we should be more active, 33% less active.

Chris Foster, Fox News A U.S. military crash remains under investigation in Washington state.

Sheriff's officials in Thurston County, Washington, said in a Facebook post that the crash happened in the Summit Lake area near joint base Lewis McChord on Wednesday night. The base is about 50 miles south of Seattle. And a spokesperson says the military lost contact with a helicopter in the area. They say it happened around 9:00 local time, quote, in a rural area near the installation. The military statement went on to say that it remains a developing situation and that no additional details were available.
