Jimmy Kimmel returned last night, though dozens of ABC stations refused to air his show following a suspension over comments he made last week about Charlie Kirk's alleged assassin. Kimmel said last night he never intended to make light of Kirk's killing or blame any specific group. I don't think the murderer who shot Charlie Kirk represents this was a sick person who believed violence was the solution and it isn't ever. Kimmel also thanked those who supported free speech and criticized his suspension. And he got a standing ovation saying this about President Trump. Our leader celebrates Americans losing their livelihoods because he can't take a joke. Now President Trump posted on Truth Social he can't believe ABC gave Kimmel his job back, calling the show Democrat garbage, suggesting it even could be a major illegal campaign contribution for Democrats. In another post, the president offered support for Ukraine, calling Russia a paper tiger, suggesting Ukraine could win back all the territory seized in the war with no progress stopping the fighting. After talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy tells FOX the fact that Putin was lying to President Trump so many times also made a difference. In Arizona, a daughter has won a special election to replace her late father in Congress. Adelina Grovalova will serve the rest of Raul's term in the House. He died in March. Again, our top FOX News story developing this morning, a shooting in Dallas, Texas, outside an immigration enforcement facility. Three detainees ICE was bringing in were shot. One of them was killed. The sniper, who was on a rooftop, took his own life, pointing the gun at himself. And again, we expect an update from Dallas police soon. Turning to Wall street, the Dow Is is up 32 points. The Nasdaq down 11. The S&P 500 losing 3 points. The price of oil is up a dollar back over $64 a barrel, while gas drops a penny today, AAA's national average for regular $3.16 a gallon, a nickel less than gas cost a year ago. Congress has just six days left to prevent a government shutdown.

House and Senate minority leaders Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer are accusing President Trump of throwing an unhinged temper tantrum by canceling a planned meeting to discuss avoiding a government shutdown. Trump, Jefferies and Schumer have proposed several health care provisions to be included in a funding package which President Trump describes as unserious and ridiculous. Senate Majority Leader John Thune says the chamber will vote again next week on a package to extend government funding until November 21, with the hope several Democrats will jump on board to reach the 60 vote threshold. Star tennis player is warning us of a racket online deep fake videos.

Rafael Nadal doesn't love this. The retired tennis great is warning about sets of fake online videos of him serving up financial advice. Nadal says the videos were generated with artificial intelligence promoting misleading advertising that's completely unrelated to him. In a message on his LinkedIn page, Nadal talks about society's challenge of learning to distinguish between what's real and what's manipulated and of promoting an ethical and responsible use of technology.
