He's there for a peace summit following the Hamas release of the last living hostages, 20 of them freed earlier today, leading to tearful reunions with loved ones after more than two years apart and celebrations in what they're now calling freed square instead of hostage square in Tel Aviv. More than 20 countries expected to attend that peace summit in Egypt, aiming to advance a wider peace in the Middle east. It's day 13 of a government shutdown with neither side budging.

Republicans want Democrats to pass a clean a continuing resolution to keep the government open with no Republican add ons. Democrats say that they will not open the government unless Republicans agree to additional spending to increase tax credits and Obamacare.
