New tariffs are on the table. I'm Chris DiMaio, Fox News. President Trump is slapping new tariffs on NATO countries that don't support American control of Greenland.

The president saying onto social Starting on February 1, 2026, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Finland will be charged a 10% tariff on any and all goods sent to the United States of America. On June 1, 2026, the tariff will be increased to 25%. This tariff will be due and pay until such time as a deal is reached for the complete and total purchase of Greenland. French President Emmanuel Macron saying no intimidation nor threat will influence us. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer saying, we will of course be pursuing this directly with the US Administration. We'll see if this includes retaliatory tariffs against the United States. And there are questions, too over the legality of these tariffs, with the Supreme Court set to issue a ruling in the coming days.

This comes as Minnesota Governor Tim Walls calls in the National Guard to help provide traffic support during demonstrations. The Guard has been activated but not yet deployed. Today, in sub zero temperatures, tense verbal and physical exchanges erupted outside of Minneapolis City Hall. The protests come as the Justice Department is investigating Walls and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry. They're acc conspiring to impede immigration agents. Meantime, a Minnesota judge has ruled federal officers enforcing immigration in Minneapolis can't detain or tear gas peaceful protesters.

Demonstrations of course began on December 28th over Iran's alien economy, but quickly swelled into widespread anti government protests demanding the fall of the country's supreme leader. Security forces fought back, claiming the lives of thousands of protesters. For the first time, Iran's supreme leader admitted the protests have killed seven, several thousand. In an interview with Politico today, President Trump called for a regime change, saying it's time to look for new leadership in Iran.

That's Fox's Stephanie Bennett. The FBI announcing Saturday that it captured an individual on its top 10 most wanted fugitive list. FBI Director Cash Patel saying Alejandro Rosales Castillo was arrested in Mexico on Friday and is awaiting to be extradited to North Carolina. Castillo was on the list for the 2017 murder of his former co worker Sandy lay.
